Born on the 13th of April, 1959, an indigene of Osun State, Mr. Odunlade, SamuelAdedapo sat for his West African School Certificate Examination at the St. John’s Grammar School, Ile-Ife in 1975 and his Advanced Level GCE at Federal School of Social Sciences, Ondo in 1980. In 1985, he graduated from the University of Lagos with a B.Sc. Sociology. He also bagged a Master of Science Degree in Industry Sociology and Post Graduate Diploma in Educationfrom the same Institution in 1990 and 1995 respectively.
Mr. Odunlade Joined the Lagos State Teaching Service as a Subject Teacher in 1985 and rose to the post of HOD in 1996 before he was redeployed to the Lagos State Ministry of Education in 1996. In the year 2000, he was moved to the Ministry of Establishments, Training and Pensions and subsequently to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in 2006.
In 2009, Mr. Odunlade was deployed to Teachers’ Resource Centre, Owutu. Ikorodu as a Deputy Director and later became the Director of the Centre in November 2013. In May 2016, he was redeployed to the Department of Pensions Administration as head, new pension scheme.
He is the currently the Director Policy Planning Research and Statistics (PPR&S) with effect from June 2018.
