MRS SIDIKAT TITILAYO SMITH-BOARD MEMBER II

Mrs. SidikatTitilayo Smith was born on the 5th of May, 1955 (Lagos Island). She commenced her professional teaching pursuit with the acquisition of Grade II Teachers Certificate in 1976 and equally attended Lagos State College of Education between 1978–1981 and obtained Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Biology and Physical and Health Education. Mrs. Smith proceeded on her educational sojourn to the University of Lagos in 1985 for further studies and graduated with B.Sc. (Hon) Education in Biology in 1989.

Mrs. Smith started her career as a Teacher in 1976 at Mushin Town Council Primary School, AbuleOkuta, Bariga. She served meritoriously in the following schools: Navy Town secondary School, (1990-1999), Stadium High School, Surulere (1985-1989), Itolo Girls Secondary School, Surulere (1984-1985), ZumratulIslamiyyah Grammar School, Igbogbo (1982-1984) and Anglican Grammar School, Ifo, Ogun State (NYSC 1981-1982)

Her commitment and sense of responsibility to duty earned her appointments as  Principal, Lagos State Junior Model College, Badore, Lagos,  between 2003-2011, Vice-Principal at Amuwo-Odofin High School (1999-2002) and Methodist High School, Badagry. She is a member of Nigeria Union of Teachers, Science Teachers Association of Nigeria and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

In recognition of her outstanding performance, in the Year 2001, Mrs. Smith was awarded the best Vice-Principal, Most Outstanding Principal 2010, the Best Teacher Award 1995. She is a proactive Officer with strong analytic skills that help her to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and an energetic Team Player. She is married with Children and Grand Children.
